This Hopi or Thermo Auricular Therapy training course taught at Brighton Holistics Online is comprehensive and practical. This course gives you a thorough introduction, insight and instruction into all the areas required to become a Hopi Ear Candling Practitioner. The course covers the history, techniques and applications that go to make up the Ear Candling process.
Hopi Ear Candling, or Thermo Auricular Therapy, is an ancient and completely natural therapy, which has been handed down to us through many civilisations, including the Greeks, Aztecs and Egyptians. However, it is from the Native American Hopi people that it has come to the Western world and into modern complementary and holistic therapies.
This now popular therapy was probably used in ancient times for cleansing, purifying and healing on a spiritual level, but today it is known for its more physical benefits in treating ear and sinus problems. The practice is safe, non-invasive and pleasant.
Each student is supplied with a pair of Biosun Hopi Ear Candles for use on the afternoon of the course for their practice session.

This course is accredited by the Federation of Holistics Therapists (FHT). This course has been awarded 10 CPD points.
What does accreditation mean?
Accreditation means that the course we provide has been independently and externally assessed, ensuring they meet the highest standards, the National Occupation Standards, and the Core Curriculum. The accreditation is an ongoing process ensuring that courses are always up to date and that the tutors meet the modality’s requirements for teaching.
The qualification gained from this course will only be accepted for professional practice and insurance if the learner holds the pre-requisites of a recognised accredited Level 3 or 4 Body / Sports / Swedish Massage / Aromatherapy / Reflexology / Beauty (level 3) qualification.
To attend this course, you have access to Zoom and a computer with a webcam. You will be required to have a model to work on for the afternoon session, 1.15 till around 4.30ish

Brighton Holistics Online produces all its own training manuals, we don’t expect you to pay for a course and then have to pay for your training materials.
Training manuals will be downloadable to each learner via their online learning portal. These manuals will be available to you once your course has started. It will be the learner’s responsibility to download and save the training manuals within this time. Manuals can be read on all devices.
Certification for your course will be emailed to you once you have met the learning outcomes.
