Qualification gained:

VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology for Complementary Therapies (RQF) VTCT (AC30407).

Please note that this qualification is called a “Certificate”. As from 1st September 2012, the word diploma was removed from all Anatomy and Physiology and Pathology qualifications, to meet Government-approved Awarding Organisation requirements. A Level 3 Certificate is now the recognised qualification and the industry standard.

Course accreditation:

This course is a Level 3 (RQF) qualification by Vocational Training Charity Trust (VTCT).

What does accreditation mean?
Accreditation means that the course we provide has been independently and externally assessed, ensuring they meet the highest standards, the National Occupation Standards, and the Core Curriculum. Accreditation is an ongoing process that ensures courses are up to date and that tutors meet the modality’s requirements for teaching.

Course pre-requisites:

This course is available for complete beginners with no previous experience; basic computer skills are required to complete this course.

Learning outcomes & evidence of achievement:

Learners will be required to show the achievement of a range of relevant learning outcomes and assessment criteria, as set by the National Occupational Standard and Accrediting Body by: –

• Theory knowledge will be assessed during your training time.

Final assessment:

Your VTCT final assessment consists of one assessment paper. The assessment has around 62 multiple-choice questions, and you must achieve a pass grade of 70% to pass.  All aspects of our VTCT Level 3 Award in Anatomical and Physiological Knowledge of Body Systems course is delivered online. There is no waiting for your result – you know immediately.

This VTCT qualification exam must be invigilated by an assessor, and we are one of the few training schools that meet the requirements to allow you to complete your online assessment in your own home and country. To be able to complete your final assessment online, you must have access to Zoom.

We are very fortunate to be able to be very flexible with regard to your final assessment date. Once you have met all the required learning outcomes, you will be asked to submit five dates which work best for you, and we will do our best to facilitate the dates for you, and if we can’t work around your dates, you will be asked to supply additional dates. However, VTCT requires a minimum of EIGHT weeks’ notice of an assessment and therefore your first date must be at least 8 weeks from when you submit your assessment request form.

Course duration:

This course takes approximately 60 hours to complete. The course will be available to you for 12 months from the date of course confirmation.
